Draco Announces the 3rd Chodesh
Updated: May 17, 2023
There is something about this discovery that is groundbreaking in interpeting scripture.
I have a wonderful friend named Hank, who challenged me more than a few years ago about this timepiece. His only question was, "If you are using the sun, how do you see the stars in the daylight: How do you see it entering the gates of that particular constellation?" His questions were very valid. For years, I have been searching for the answer. I knew that it had to be the stars, but how? There are so many of them at night. So, when Nodus 1 in the constellation Draco was found on the ecliptic path and the prime Meridian in the morning of May 18th to the second, we had our answers. God is a god of balance. What was true in the day, was also true in the evening. This star was found at 0h 00m 00.0s on the 360-degree line, the Prime Meridian.
The stars CAN be seen, and it is perhaps why Genesis 1:5 is written the way that it is. But sadly, the truth of what this verse was saying was lost over time in order to fit a tradition. These are bold words I am sharing with you now. We are aware of the interpretations held in high esteem for more than 2000 years and those interpretations have shaped traditions both in the past and in the present. Here is one translation:
Bereshis 1:5 Orthodox Jewish Bible
5 And Elohim called the light Yom (Day), and the darkness He called Lailah (Night). And the erev (evening) and the boker (morning) were Yom Echad (Day One, the First Day)
The Masoretic text is written this way:
1:5 וַיִּקְרָא אֱלֹהִים לָאוֹר יוֹם וְלַחֹשֶׁךְ קָרָא לָיְלָה וַֽיְהִי־עֶרֶב וַֽיְהִי־בֹקֶר יוֹם אֶחָֽד׃ פ
וַֽיְהִי־עֶרֶב and were evening
וַֽיְהִי־בֹקֶר and were morning
יוֹם אֶחָֽד day one
This is why scripture instructs them to blow the shofar "in the day". Because the sun needed to reach the prime meridian which only happens "in" the day. So, in rereading this verse we can now see that this is a list of 3 separate "periods of time", not the sum of all parts. For those who unaware, there are those who think that a day begins in the evening because of this verse. It DOES NOT. Yes, strong words. Something to think about.
Hi Lisa,
I am fairly certain that Nodus 1 in the constellation of Draco is not found on the ecliptic path, however I stand to be corrected.
