Chodesh -2024

Elohim's ways are not man's ways. We invite you to celebrate this New Year Elohim's way. Join us and return to the ancient paths.

Thus says יְהוָה : “Stand in the roads and look. Ask for the ancient paths— where the good way is—and walk in it. Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We won’t walk in it.’

Confusing Calendars or By His Design

There is quite a stir in the body of Christ this season. Once again the disagreement in calendars. We should not take offense. Some are zealous for the truth and no one wants to be “wrong”. This was an issue even in the days of Yeshua. There was the Enoch calendar, the Judean calendar and the Julian calendar all being practiced. Each believing they were on the right one. Man has tried for ages to find the true timepiece.

This year on the Judean calendar, Passover will be observed on April 22nd this month. For those of us here at The Disciples Table that day has passed. We observed it on March 24th. It wasn't because we ignored adding a 13th month. It was and is because we are using a different method. The research that we do here is not just for you, but for us as well so that we can start to recognize the patterns. Having a written document to review, we might get closer to what the signs in the heavens are trying to tell us. For instance, Jupiter is finally moving out from under the Ram, into the Bull after 346 days! A time mostly filled with violence in the land of Gaza and Israel.

We continue to work on the Yom 4 series practically every day. It is a huge body of work and we are anxious to share it with you. Thus far the count is 10 videos all in different stages of development. Through the process of working on Yom 4 we are seeing more clarity from some of the verses that are written in scripture. For instance, regarding the Pesach meal, it is to be eaten between the evenings.

Between the "Evenings"

NqSrCn.jpg
There has been so much debate as to when are the” evenings”. The word in Hebrew is EREV. We know that the Lord created day and night but between day and night there is a mixture of day and night. This mixture is named EREV. There are two times in a 24-hour period when there is EREV. You have one at the end of pure daylight. Some people call this twilight as in twixt (between) the day and the night. The second is after the night and before the morning. Scripture tells us what day Solomon’s temple was dedicated. Because of this given date we believe they were starting to use the erev after the pure daylight even before the Babylonian captivity. But in the days of Moshe and up through the days of King David they were using the erev before the morning hence the interpretation of the verse can be understood two different ways.
  1. Genesis 1:5 Complete Jewish Bible

5 God called the light Day (יוֹם), and the darkness he called Night(לָיְלָה). So there was evening (עֶרֶב erev), and there was morning, one day.

or

   2. God called the light Day (יוֹם), and the darkness he called Night(לָיְלָה). So there was twilight (עֶרֶב erev), and there was morning, one day.

The first translation is Man’s Way. The second translation is His Way.

Isa 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith YHVH.

There is no penalty. It does not say that one has transgressed the law. Both the sun and the moon have played a major role in the body of Christ, to all of His chosen people. It is only when we understand the purposes of each that perhaps we can all settle down and become more united with each other. Which can lead us to begin to rebuild our sight, to see things revealed and be prepared for what is coming. What are your thoughts. Leave a comment.
