Chodesh
Elohim's ways are not man's ways. We invite you to celebrate this New Year Elohim's way. Join us and return to the ancient paths.
Thus says יְהוָה : “Stand in the roads and look. Ask for the ancient paths— where the good way is—and walk in it. Then you will find rest for your souls. But they said, ‘We won’t walk in it.’

Yom Teruah September 16, 2023
There appears to be a connection between the 2nd Pesach and Yom Teruah.
May 4th + 135 days = September 16, 2023
We go from the Pesach meal and then inclusive the 1st day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread through the day before Yom Teruah 135 days. In this period, we have received many gifts throughout these 135 days. Now it is time to reflect on how we used those gifts, freely given. For some it will be a time of joy and others it will a time to fear. Reading Psalm 135 may give us some further understanding as to what we are praising YHVH for on this day. Praise Him in all creation and redemption. This chodesh is not only a time of joy, but also includes one of the holiest appointed times, the Day of Atonement, Yom Kippur, as well as the Feast of Sukkot/Tabernacles.
Psalm 135
1 Hallelujah!
Praise the name of YHVH.
Praise him, you servants of YHVH
2 who are standing in the house of YHVH,
in the courtyards of the house of our Elohim.
3 Praise Yah because YHVH is good.
Make music to praise his name because his name is beautiful.
4 Yah chose Jacob to be his own
and chose Israel to be his own special treasure.
5 I know that YHVH is great,
that our Adonai is greater than all the false gods.
6 YHVH does whatever he wants in heaven or on earth,
on the seas or in all the depths of the oceans.
7 He is the one who makes the clouds rise from the ends of the earth,
who makes lightning for the thunderstorms,
and who brings wind out of his storerooms.
8 He is the one who killed every firstborn male in Egypt.
He killed humans and animals alike.
9 He sent miraculous signs and amazing things into the heart of Egypt
against Pharaoh and all his officials.
10 He is the one who defeated many nations and killed mighty kings:
11 King Sihon of the Amorites,
King Og of Bashan,
and all the kingdoms in Canaan.
12 He gave their land as an inheritance,
an inheritance to his people Israel.
13 O YHVH, your name endures forever.
O YHVH, you will be remembered throughout every generation.
14 YHVH will provide justice for his people
and have compassion on his servants.
15 The idols of the nations are made of silver and gold.
They were made by human hands.
16 They have mouths, but they cannot speak.
They have eyes, but they cannot see.
17 They have ears, but they cannot hear.
They cannot breathe.
18 Those who make idols end up like them.
So does everyone who trusts them.
19 Descendants of Israel, praise YHVH.
Descendants of Aaron, praise YHVH.
20 Descendants of Levi, praise YHVH.
You people who fear YHVH, praise YHVH.
21 Thank YHVH in Zion.
Thank the one who lives in Jerusalem.
Hallelujah!
The 7th

Elohim's mo'ed (appointed times) total

7 Holy days which do not fall on a 7th day Sabbath
plus 1 evening on the 9th day
46 days - 14 days =
32 days that man can still labor
Man has no excuse.

The 8th
Chodesh
Observation is still required. On September 15th, it appeared that November 1st will be the next Rosh Chodesh. Yes, that does sound like a long time. But understand that His timepiece is days based on the sun and the stars, not the moon during the 1st Temple period. We will be watching, and update as needed.
