Announcing 1st Day of the 1st Chodesh

Blow the shofar! We are about to begin the new ecclesiastical year. While some are focused on what lies ahead in the arena of upcoming disasters let us take inventory on what still needs to be done. Years ago it was a big thing to come up with "New Year's" resolutions. Our Messiah died on frames of wood, be it a tree, a cross, or other configuration. Many of us believe that he was indeed The Word made flesh. Yet, there are far too many bibles, scrolls, and targums collecting dust lying on present day shelves made from wood. Who here is willing and able to take His Word off the wood and read it daily? It's no better time than NOW to wash yourselves in the word daily and scrubbing the old self away to be transformed to a NEW mind. There are still some years left in this world. Therefore, DO NOT put off today or tonight that time to read His Word. Is it possible for you to fall in love with His Word and discover that it becomes your delight just as King David did? For some of us, it wasn't an easy read to start. Perhaps, like me there were several years of start and stop and restarts. But with due diligence and discipline the rewards are ENORMOUS! Let us all start out this new year on the "right foot". It is the only WAY to prepare "The Way" to walk and find that narrow gate. Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and those who enter through it are many. How narrow is the gate and difficult the way that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
